Barefoot Farm
In the early 1980's, while dating, and on into our married years, we enjoyed patronizing this farm, which was "Luther Crone's Produce".
We would pick berries, buy other vegetables and enjoy conversation, hearing stories and observing what so many locals knew. Strawberries were grown here and marketed by his family since the early 1930's.
Luther was a true farmer, growing just about everything. He was also a great story teller, knowledgeable history buff and a good salesman.
