Smith Orchard
Smith Orchard has been owned and operated by Rob & Wende Richter since December of 1985.
Wende and Rob bought the orchard from Charlie Smith who planted 800 trees in 1929.
Wende and her son, Chad, continued the operations of the farm after Rob died in 2018.
We offer numerous varieties of apples, including Macintosh, Red Delicious, Cortland, Yellow Delicious, Jona Gold, Ginger Gold, Gala, Idared and Macoun.
We still have about 50 trees that Charlie planted. We start with the basics, planting our own trees, keeping our own bees, and of course welcoming you into the orchard!
The apples are looking great, and we hope that you can visit us and start your own family traditions, here at Smith Orchard.
