We, Christoph and Sabine Mueller, acquired Schartner’s Orchard in Thorndike and have lived there since August of 2015.

Our business model is similar to the previous owner’s: growing and local direct marketing of fresh fruits throughout the season.

Our focus is on providing large variety and excellent quality locally.

We working on adding new varieties and new fruits to provide a longer season and additional choices of fresh fruits.

Our offering includes ‘Pick-Your-Own’ and a farm-store at the farm in Thorndike and we are attending the Bangor, Bar Harbor / Northeast Harbor, Belfast, Brewer, Orono and Southwest Harbor Farmers’ Markets.
