Smith Ridge Farm
Smith Ridge Farm is owned and operated by Steven and Ronica Smith, along with daughters J & M.
We began with a small garden at our home in New Portland.
Over the years the garden got progressively bigger and we added egg-laying chickens, and then meat birds.
We knew we wanted to pursue homesteading and would outgrow our one acre property soon.
We purchased our home on Taylor Hill Rd. in 2016 and have been expanding ever since.
In addition to over four acres of Wild Maine Blueberries we currently farm over 1600 square feet of garden beds.
Our animals are pasture raised, and the egg-laying chickens often free range when the weather and garden permit.
