Christ Orchard
Christ Orchard has been family owned and operated for nearly 30 years.
The Midland Coal Company planted the orchard in the 1970s and asked the Elmwood FFA to manage it.
Kurt Christ was integrally involved in the operation and upon graduation he began renting the orchard from the coal company.
He then bought the orchard in the mid 1980s.
The orchard has grown to include not only U-Pick apples, but also U-Pick pumpkins, fresh pressed apple cider, fall decorations, mums, fruit preserves and much more.
