Burt's Farm
The story of Burt’s Farm actually begins way back in the 1800’s when the patriarch of the family, John Crane, moved from South Carolina and bought the property where the farm is presently located.
The property also included what is now Amicalola Falls State Park.
The property where the state park is located today was confiscated from Bartley Crane in the late 1800’s by the federal government.
Bartley owned a liquor still, but failed to pay taxes on the whiskey he made and sold.
