Rose Orchards

Since the 1600's the Rose family has farmed the land on the Branford/North Branford townline.

Over the last hundred years the farm has alternated from an orchard, which was decimated during the Hurricane of '38, to a dairy farm, and back again to an orchard in the early '70s.

Currently we have expanded our offerings to include a greenhouse filled with tomatoes, other vegetables, bedding plants, and hanging baskets.

In addition the family makes their own maple syrup, operates a soft serve frozen custard stand and a bakery, and is expanding their agri-tourism business.
